POKER ROOMS

The “Poker Rooms” are Tamarack Lodge originals. The honey colored knotty pine walls give these rooms a delightfully and indisputably OLD TAHOE feel. Guests no longer come here to play cards, but they used to! Unfortunately we cannot substantiate the claim that Lady Luck helped my Great grandfather to win the Lodge in one of these very rooms, nor do we know which rooms Clark Gable and Marilyn Monroe occupied when they supposedly came to the Lodge during the filming of The Misfits. If only these walls could talk!

Today the Poker table in each room has been replaced by a Queen bed, and the rooms are cozy if small (140 to 160 sq. ft). The bathroom has what you need in a compact space. These rooms are our most economical, and a real Tahoe bargain.

The thermostatically controlled electric heaters keep these rooms toasty warm in winter. Note that the Poker rooms are pet friendly.



Each room at Tamarack has a microwave oven, small refrigerator, coffee maker (with excellent Blind Dog coffee supplied), Cable TV, complementary high speed wifi, and a telephone for local and incoming calls.

All taps on the property have water from our Artesian well, and we doubt you've ever had better.
